CHINESE MOTHER OF PEARL INLAID MARBLE RoseWOOD TABLE

• Gorgeous Chinese crafted marble top, mother of pearl inlaid, Rosewood table. 
  
• Measures up to 16in round, 21in tall with a 14in round marble inlay
  
• From a Philadelphia family that traces their family line back to the 1600s.  According to the owners family journal, their great grandfather worked on the Trans Siberian Railway.  On his journey he traveled to China and brought this table, a Ivory inlay panel and a Chinese vase back with him to the United States in 1896.  There is no indication of whether it is older then this date.
• In good condition with missing mother of pearl in several areas.  7 small pieces total from the table top rim and 12 pieces total from the sides.  2 missing circular pieces off the top rim side.  One side panel broken off with broken pieces included.  One side arm broken off and piece is included.  Two bottom panels have a crack on the top half of the panel, both cracks all the way through to the other side with both pieces intact.  Solid and sturdy.  Most joints tight and strong with two of the top surface joints coming slightly away from age.  Marble with scratches and fade throughout.
