This auction includes 1 t'ao with four string-bound bifolium books.  Item measures 4 1/2 x 7 inches. The bone clasp case is wrapped in blue cloth with title plate along front, shows some rubbing wear and toning along spine.  Endpapers show some toning and a couple points of paper loss, else good.  Three of the books show numerous illustrations throughout depicting domestic scenes and items.  The last book is composed entirely of Chinese calligraphic text. Books show some paper loss from biopredation (see photos).  Leaves are bright and clean throughout.  Bindings are sound.  Approximate date of publication is 1850, this is an educated guess.  PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON.  Questions?  Please do not hesitate to ask.
