ULTRA LIGHT: Very Lightweight fabric, would be used for curtains, scarves, etc. not suitable for quilting.
LIGHT: lightweight fabric, would be used for quilting, garment construction (eg: dresses, blouses, etc) and crafting.
MEDIUM: Heaver weight fabric (blue jean weight), would be used for crafting (eg: purses, bags, place mats, etc.) not suitable for quilting.
MEDIUM-HEAVY: Heaver weight fabric,(upholstery type fabric) in between medium and heavy. Used for crafting, light upholstery, etc.
HEAVY: Heavy weight fabric, used for Upholstery, crafts, etc.
