About the artist
Dan Springer received his formal art training at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he received his
BFA in Illustration in 1991. Since then, he has done freelance illustration for various publications, including
“The New York Times”, “The Village Voice”, and “Avenue” magazine.

He started his fine art career in 1996 when he founded the “4E Gallery” in Tribeca where he showed various artists, as well as his own work every month. He also showed at numerous galleries and clubs, including the “Ace Gallery”, the “Gershwin Gallery”, “The Tunnel” and “Faces and Names”, (159 W. 54th St.), and “Rumours” (8th Ave. & 55th St.) where he has a permanent exhibitions.

Dan has also done live caricatures at “Faces and Names” since they opened; about 10 years ago. He has worked as a live caricature artist for the past 17 years, including work at Six Flags-Great Adventure and has been living on commissioned caricature paintings and freelance illustration projects for the past 10 years. He has done caricatures in Central Park, NYC for the past 12 years. Dan is a recognized professional and member of the National Caricaturist Network.

Winning bidder will receive an email from us with all of the auction information, including payment address, Pay Pal address and other pertinent information. Pay Pal information: If paying via Pay Pal, we only ship to confirmed addresses.

NJ Residents are required to pay 7% sales tax.
 
International bidders: We accept Pay Pal for international orders.

Shipping

We ship Tuesday's and Thursday's. Smaller items may be shipped throughout the week, however, we are committed to shipping on Tuesday's and Thursday's. 

Shipping methods: Our preferred method of shipping is UPS, almost all of our items will be shipped via this carrier. We also use USPS Priority Mail (for smaller items) and Fed Ex if needed. Auctions will either have a flat cost for shipping, or an eBay shipping calculator attached (at the bottom right of the auction listing).

Local pick up - Most items are available for a local pick up either at our office or at our customer's home.  Please contact us if you would like to pick up your item.  No additional charges are incurred for a local pick up.  

Insurance: We will insure your item for an additional cost. All UPS orders under $100 are shipped fully insured! If winning bidder chooses to have the item shipped insured via USPS, additional insurance charges may apply.

Tracking numbers will be provided to the winning bidder once the item ships (where applicable).

We COMBINE SHIPPING! Please email us to request a combined quote on shipping.

Returns

We will offer a refund and provide a return call tag for a return for items that do not meet the item description. Please email us to request a refund BEFORE any feedback is left. If feedback is left for us before a request for a refund is made, you have forfeited your chance to receive a refund.

We will not refund your original shipping cost under any circumstances. Refunds will be made within 5 days of receiving the item back in our office. Refunds will be given in the same type of payment for which the item was paid.

UPS damaged package - If your package was sent via UPS, and arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. We are the point person for the UPS claim that will need to be filed. We will need your home phone number to begin the claim.
