 Edge High Performance Rotors are cryogenically engineered. Our precise deep process creates a more dense and uniform grain structure which allows heat to dissipate 600% faster than stock rotors. The tighter molecular structure also increases strength, wear life, and cycle fatigue. The wearing and cracking is due to uneven tempers (hard and soft spots) in areas of the rotor. When the rotor is subjected to thermal stress (or mechanical stress from over tightened or uneven lug nuts) the rotor will wear and crack. Turning the rotor will eliminate warps or cracks that exist when the rotor is cold. The problem still exists when the rotor is hot stressed and the uneven temper still exists. A permanent solution would be having purchased cryogenically engineered brake rotors. This is the most cost effective way to increase the life and safety of the rotor. By buying cryogenically engineered brake rotors you will be assured a stress free uniform rotor that will eliminate vibrations and dissipate heat quickly and evenly.
