Goldmine Record Grading - All Grading is Visual
Near Mint (NM) - Record is like new. Shiny with no visible defects. No surface noise. Properly cared for record
Very Good ++ (VG++) Very minor cosmetic flaws. Not quite near mint, but an excellent record.
Very Good + (VG+) - Signs of wear. Light scuffs and scratches that should not affect sound.
Very Good (VG) - Obvious flaws. Lack of original gloss. Groove wear evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail.
Good (G) - Basically a poor condition record. I will only list a record like this if it is very rare.
Goldmine Cover / Sleeve Grading
Near Mint (NM) - No Creases, ring wear, or seam splits of any kind. Clean good quality cover.
Very Good ++ (VG++) - Very minor wear. No splits, writing, or stickers but it may have some small blemishes or very minor ringwear from normal wear.
Very Good + (VG+) - Minor wear. Seam splits less than one inch. Cover may have minor defacing, writing or cut-out mark. Some ringwear. Still a solid cover.
Very Good (VG) - Obvious ringwear. Creases may be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious.
Good (G) - Ring wear to the point of distraction. Heavy writing. Obvious damage. Obvious seam splitting.
