In addition to powering the CIGAR OASIS XL from a wall outlet, you may choose to operate the humidifier from a built in battery pack that is included with this unit at no additional charge! The overall size of the unit with battery pack is exactly the same size as the original Cigar Oasis. Approx. size: 3" high x 2" wide x 6" long with battery pack and 2.35" high x 2" wide x 6" long without battery pack. Capacity 4 cubic feet or 300 cigars. The battery pack comes w/ six AA batteries & snaps onto the water cartridge in the same way as the water cartridge snaps onto the control unit.
You can expect six months of unattended operation without refilling or replacing sealed cartridge in a well designed tight fitted humidor with 75-100 cigars and opening three to four times per week.
