THEN I SEWED THEM TOGETHER AND ADDED A BLUE FLEECE BACKING

TO MAKE IT MORE LIKE A FLEECE QUILT

I THEN MADE A PILLOW OUT OF TWO OF THE SQUARES AND THERE YOU HAVE IT

IT IS VERY PRETTY, IN ONE PHOTO IT LOOKS LIKE CINDERELLA IS UNDER THE COVERS. LOL

I SEWED THE EDGES WITH A BINDING STITCH

I love American Girl Dolls and I love to sew. Soooo I've started making doll clothes.

I bought my 2 granddaughters each a doll on ebay a Bitty Baby and Kristin. I decided to make them some clothes, as they were out of the country at the time and I missed them so much. I had to find something to keep me occupied. I made about 25 outfits apiece and then what? They only need so many, (but I'm still making some for them.) Well I decided to start selling some on ebay and  here i am.

 I use to sew a lot but haven't done much for several years. But now I'm back in the saddle again.  (for the older folks) lol.  My husband's cousin makes skating outfits for a living. She had lots of fabric that she was no longer in need of, so I took all she could give me and wow. I have like 20 bolts of fabric. It doesn't take much fabric to make a leotard for and doll. The fabric will probably outlive me. Guess Ill have to pass it on lol. Everyone says oh you are so lucky to get all that fabric, but its been very stressful with all that fabric staring at me. So I decided to buy a new sewing machine so I could sew faster lol. I've kinda slowed down a bit now, I bought some doll clothes from a wholesaler to fill up my store. I am still making doll clothes but mostly skating and dance outfits. There is so much competition out there, seems everyone has a sewing machine.

It has been so much fun to sell on ebay and have happy customers. Everyone should be happy with their purchase. I try to state everything about the item I can think of so there are no surprises. So far, So good. I've met a lot of really nice people on ebay and its a pleasure to be able to open a store and communicate with all I come in contact with.
