CIVIL WAR IN LOUISIANA 1863 BATTLE OF IRISH BEND HORSES
This original wood-cut engraving is titled "THE CAMPAIGN IN LOUISIANA-BATTLE OF IRISH BEND", published in "Harper's Weekly" May, 1863. This dated sheet is 11 x 15 inches in size with wide margins. It is in excellent condition, highly displayable and ready for framing and is guaranteed to be as described.
Typical spots or foxing you may see on some of these early engravings are signs of age and do not detract from the beauty/splendor/value of the print but only attest to it's authenticity. Also attesting to it's authenticity are the lines you may see in the early engravings which are caused by the adjoining of wood-blocks that make-up the complete print. Postage will be $4.00 for Priority mail and $8 for international shipping. All items will be mailed flat in a acid free poly bag inside a sturdy reusable cardboard flat for safe shipment.
