'Maps Compiled, Drawn and Engraved Under the Supervision of J. H. Colton and A. J. Johnson' and published by Johnson and Ward successors to Johnson and Browning. This GREAT Map was made and HAND COLORED 145 Years AGO !!! THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION. |

There are four small tears on the lower edge: one 1"tear, two 1/2" tears, and one 1/4" tear- as the lower margin is short (as issued) these tears go slightly onto map area); there are also some very light scattered dots/spots of foxing. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED ! A REAL ANTIQUE! THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS AND BEST AMERICAN MAPS MADE DURING THE CIVIL WAR ! |
