Antique Print Description

This genuine antique engraved political cartoon is titled "OLD MR. SECESH, FROM HIS HOUSETOP IN RICHMOND, VA., LOOKING OUT FOR THE SYMPATHY PROMISED BY SOME SUPPORTERS OF GOV. SEYMOUR" and published in the "Harper's Weekly", December 6, 1862. The engraved cartoon measures 5 x 7 inches in size.  The dated sheet measures 11 x 16 inches.

It is in very good condition with mild age toning which gives it a wonderful authentic antique appearance.  A few minor foxing freckles. 

This handsome well-drawn historic print could be framed and displayed in office or den.
