DESCRIPTION:
This illustrated bound booklet features 23 pages of numerous period illustrations featured in Harper's Monthly Magazine and Godey's Lady's Book from 1860 - 1865. They were compiled by a lifelong collector of woodblock illustrations, who later compiled and professionally published them in this booklet. This is an original publication from Yesterday in Pictures, Inc. dating from 1993. This booklet measures 8-1/2" x 11" and has about 70 different illustrations with the original text describing most images. This publication is no longer in print, as only one edition was ever made. Volume II and III also available, please see the link at the bottom!
