THANK YOU for considering our clean and accurate to railroad-grade time condition Hamilton Grade 992B, 16 size, open face, 21 jewels, adjusted temperature and 6 positions, 3/4 nickel plate, stem wind, lever set movement! This fine Grade 992B is really well-preserved. The winding wheels are spotless, the plates are nice and clean and have no scratching or marring, the black engraving is intact, the balance motion is flat and true, perfectly poised with a fine arc and a healthy beat, the white metallic Elinvar hairspring is clear and pulses great, and the movement is a smooth, smooth wind up, sets as designed, and there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever except that you don’t own it yet! I have owned and timed this model for many years and it is currently holding railroad-grade time of within 30 seconds per week at 6,000 feet. What’s not to love about this fine 992B?
