The Steelfiber shaft has the power of graphite and the stability of steel. The shaft features:
Graphite core for vibration dampening, increased club head speed and maximum distance
Steel fiber covers the entire surface for adding stability and control for pinpoint accuracy
Over 59 miles of steel fiber covers the entire surface of each shaft
Optimum weighting without increased wall thickness for a solid feel through impact
Perimeter weighted for higher shaft MOI resulting in greater forgiveness
High modulus graphite core
Each steel fiber has a diameter of 8 microns or approximately 1⁄10th the diameter of a human hair.
The HiBORE XL features a special geometry that moves weight lower and deeper into the clubhead, optimizing the center of gravity (CG) location for ideal launch conditions. For maximum ball speed, the XL has a larger sweet spot compared to traditional large-volume drivers and, paired with the deep CG, its high moment of inertia increases stability on off-center hits. The result? Greater overall distance and tighter shot dispersion over the entire face.
