CM WESTERN SADDLE SET FOR TRADITIONAL SIZED MODEL HORSES

  This Western saddle set is handmade and hand carved on premium 2 oz calf leather.   The saddle is handformed without a resin or metal tree.   The 1/2 post is bound in matching cowhide edged in natural sinew. This single-rigged saddle fits a variety of Traditional sized models.   The pictured horse is a Breyer Traditional sized repainted Seabiscuit.  Double skirt saddle with scrolls and basket weave type stamp. Custom dyed leather in maroon color with highlighter and sealed with Leather Shene.  Lined with a mock sheepskin material.    

   Also included is matching bridle with working buckles to fit many different head sizes, with a snaffle bit and handbraided reins , a saddle blanket in complimentary collars, a matching tooled breast collar, and a rope front cinch. ( Horse NOT included.)

NOTE:    All my saddles are made with pride and all saddles are numbered and signed. All my customer love them!  I  use only  genuine leather, real sinew for stitching  together most parts, 20 guage wire for support, and a good quality leather glue to hold together lighter pieces like lace and linings. Feature Rio Rondo buckles. They are built using Breyer John Henry and Lady Phase models as demos, and the tack may need to be modified to fit smaller or larger horses.  Also please note they may not fit your Arabian or Morgan horses with short backs.

P.S.S.  Due to frequent questioning I will reveal my magic trick of getting the bit to "stay in the horses mouth".  It's STICKY WAX, it comes in a little round container available at any hobby store, craft store, or even mail order.
