CNC Router Milling Machine - Sign making & Engraving

The CNC Router is brand new. The part remains steady while all three axes travel on a gantry system. The frame is constructed from high density plastic. The plastic will be black. It is a very rugged machine. The travel distances are approximately X axis-12 inches, Y axis-20 inches, and Z axis-3 inches. These machines are great for the hobbiest or anyone who enjoys tinkering in the shop. It can cut plastic, wood, and soft metals (aluminum, brass). The machine comes with 3 new stepper motors, new power supply, and 3 axis stepper motor controller. The equipment is designed for you to later upgrade to a more sophisicated machine.  The motors are oversized so you can upgrade to linear bearings, acme lead screws, etc.  This way you can save lots of money by doing the upgrade yourself.  All you will need is a dremel tool and a computer with a parallel port.  I use Mach2 or Mach3 CNC software (shareware version). It can be downloaded from www.artofcnc.ca. Although the software is user friendly, it does assume you know something about cnc machines. Great Machine at a great price! These types of machines usually sell for over $2500.  I can add a dremel for an additional fee. The item ships approximately 3 weeks after the money is deposited in my bank account.
