In the past year we have probably sold 6 or 7 of these like you will see in the photo's above.  There main intent was for coins and money.  Our past customers are using the same setup today to place their rare coins and collections in.  The interior of the drawers are divided for coins and bills and in two or three of the drawers there are some of the thin wood divider pieces missing but this would probably work just as well to put larger coins that are packaged in multiples in. This is all QUARTERSAWN oak.  THIS HAS OTHER USES such as, jewelry, indian artifacts, marbles, etc.  This is made right about the turn of the century by the National Cash Register Co. in Dayton, Ohio.  IT'S EXTREMELY HEAVY!!!!  The side of the cabinet base is bombay or swoops outward for style.  The three side panels are cutout and raised.  Usually when you find these bombay bases the brass feet are missing.  All 4 of these are intact on this one.  LOTS OF SPACE!!!!  The 9 drawers are 22 1/2 inches wide x 12 1/2 inches front to back x 2 1/2 inches deep.  Below these drawers you have a door for more space.  It is all open and is 22 1/2 inches wide x 9 inches tall.  From the floor to the top of the brass register this towers 68 inches tall.  The base alone is 25 wide x 16 inches front to back.
