Collectible Limited Edition Chess Nativity Set by artist, Tricia Derges. SET IS NOW RETIRED! We are at the last of our inventory for the season and will not be getting any ore in.

This is a beautiful nativity chess set is 33 pieces  (including the board).  The board is 15 1/2" x 15 1/2" x 2 1/4".  The board is finished in a light simulated oak style  and has two pull out drawers for storage of chessmen. 

Tricia designed and painted the original chess set.  The set is then sent to be reproduced in resin and each resin chess piece is then meticulously handpainted one at a time.  It is normal to see some variation in painting due to the handpainted nature of the chessmen.   The details of each figure are beautiful!  Each of the figures range in size from 2 1/2" to 3 3/4"   (the angels being 2 1/2" and Joseph being 3 3/4").   One chessmen's side is painted in various colors to represent the clothing of Jesus' day and the other chessmen's side is painted in an antqiue white and gold.   There are 8 angels per side, Mary holding Baby Jesus, Joseph, 2 Kings, 2 Donkeys, and 2 Jerusalem style houses.

This is a most unique set.  I have only seen one other nativity chess set, it was smaller it retailed for $465.00 !!!   This is a great set!  don't miss this chance of adding it to your collection! This set has sold for over $250.00 on ebay this year. These are the final sets, they are RETIRED! There will be no more cast!
