1924 COLT "WTG" TRANSITION MODEL 1911A1

For your consideration is this beautiful model replica of the super rare Colt 1911A1 1924 Transition .45 Autoloader.

Here is a 1924 Transition Model with the early single-circled
WTG stamp. Initially labeled the "Improved Model of 1911",
the pistols were not designated M1911A1's until 3 years
later in a retroactive nomenclature change. Distinguishing
features which first appeared in Transitions became common
to the M1911A1:

• Finger relief cuts behind trigger
• Shortened trigger
• Curved mainspring housing
• Widened, non-tapered front site
• Extened grip safety tang

This incredible non-firing recreation of this obscure and collectable .45 is designed to fire special caps (not provided with replica per eBay rules and regulations). As developed for the U.S. Army, this beautiful replica is a sweet blowback cap firing replica that will simulate fire on semi auto just like a real Colt auto loader hand gun.   The meticulously detailed and fully licensed replica you are viewing  measures just 8" inches in length.  Take a look at the pictures below and you'll see the attention to detail that makes this replica extra special. This one is in new/unfired condition with authentic COLT logos and inscriptions, perfect mechanical function with 6 rounds of empty/inert cap holding plastic shells (charges/caps not included per eBay rules).   This is a very rare Japanese model made by MGC in 2005 that rarely come up for sale, as the company only produced a few hundred before closing down production permanently. The frame and slide are made of urethane that actually has metal powder mixed into the formula.  The result is a cool to the touch material that looks and feels super realistic.   When the inert replica shells are fitted with the proper 7mm caps, this replica will fire in semi auto mode. With every pull of the trigger a charge will go off forcing the round and slide back, ejecting the spent shell then sliding forward to chamber the next round while producing noise and smoke! CAPS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH AUCTION PER EBAY RULES. Look at the pictures below and you will see the attention to the smallest details. The surfaces are consistent throughout the surface of the pistol. The tolerances are tight and the machining is accurate.   These replica blowback guns are basically very realistic and sophisticated cap guns. They ignite a small cap/primer that fits into the base of each replica “cartridge” which in turn cycles the bolt to blowback when the trigger is pulled and the hammer falls, ejecting the spent casing, then chambers another “round” to repeat the process.  The replica cartridges are 100% reusable. All you need are the 7mm caps (not included with this auction) to put into each cartridge after firing to use them again and again. As such, this is a classic replica that is highly prized and sought after by collectors all over the world. Japanese Model Guns have been used in major motion pictures for over 35 years... that's how realistic they are! Every part on this beauty is replicated down to the smallest detail.  Features include: functional spring loaded magazine release, all metal spring loaded magazine, functional metal trigger with full travel slide action that fires from the "closed bolt" position, metal screws/rivet, metal rear sight, all metal magazine, metal takedown pin, metal slide stop release, all metal interior trigger package, 2 position safety/selector along with a functional hand grip 'squeeze' safety and more all in the original box!  We do not supply the caps with this auction per Ebay rules and guidelines. Most auction items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”.  However, we will consider returns on a case by case basis if it is clear the item was damaged before it was sent out.  We do everything we can to inspect and check for functionality of these replicas before we ship them, but we understand things can get by us.  So we will discuss it if something is obviously wrong, missing or broken. ALL RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING AND PROCESSING FEE IN ADDITION TO ANY REFUNDS WE RECEIVE FROM EBAY.

Complete payment is due upon receipt of notification of a successful bid at which time title and risk of loss shall pass to the Buyer. As the winning bidder, you are liable to pay for all items you won at auction. You must contact us immediately with payment information. Failure to do so within 3 days may result in termination of your bidding privileges at Private-Punchy-Airsoft Auctions, a negative posting to your eBay account and further legal actions.
