Hello!

You are looking at a rare, old deck of PLAYING CARDS dated 1939! The cards look their age but are in good condition. One Queen card has a piece of the top left corner missing; the JOKER card has a small tear at the bottom; the rest of the cards are OK. The deck comes in its original cardboard box (the slip-through part has a thin leather 'jacket') with a DOG PICTURE- which is also printed on the back of each card. The deck has an EXTRA JOKER card with a 'Society Note':  Queenie and I were invited out last night by some blue bloods who top off the town's smart set. I'm usually bored stiff as a leather doublet at parties - but these people played cards and we had a swell time. "Regular guys," I says to Queenie on the way home. "Let's have them over to the palace soon for a round of rummy." The year 1939 is printed on this card.
