You are buying a "$185.00 Flat Rate" complete REMANUFACTURE of YOUR IBM or Lexmark brand Wheelwriter Typewriter (ANY MODEL!). Included is a "One Year Warranty".  Others advertise "Industry Best" 90 and/or 120 days.  Well, even in the deprived schools in Arkansas, I was taught that 365 is longer than either 90 or 120.  We can  offer this warranty only because of our repetitive quality & experience (over 25 years).  Your Wheelwriter will be shipped back to you within 24 hours of our receipt.

For Wheelwriter Models 50, 70, 5000 & 7000 this charge does NOT include the repair and/or test of the Monitor.  The Monitor will be repaired for an additional charge of $85 and must be paid for separately.  Again, the shipping and proper packing of the item is the responsibility of the buyer.

What does remanufacture include?

• Complete disassembly.
• Check all cables, connectors, solder joints and circuit board(s).
• Clean all plastic parts.  Replace or repair any broken, cracked or damaged items.
• Install one of our proprietary rebuilt keyboards which includes NEW membranes. $50 Value
• Upgrade power supply preventing failure for a long term. $50 Value
• Resurface the Platen. $50 Value
• Replace the battery holder if necessary and install new batteries. $27.50 Value
• Reassemble.
• Provide a serviceable printwheel if necessary. $37.50 Value
• Provide serviceable ribbon and liftoff tape cassettes. $12 Value
• Clean & test line cord and replace if necessary.
• Perform performance test and print test page indicating passage.
• Wrap in bubble pack and filler.  Pack in a corrugated box custom designed with 25 years engineering along with proven trial and error experience.

Bidding on this item indicates your acceptance of our terms. To assure proper credit, include the ebay Item Number AND description of the item on all correspondence. We must receive payment within 10 days from the end of the auction and BEFORE any work is initiated. All sales are final. No returns will be accepted without an approved "Return Material Authorization" form issued by our Customer Service Department.  Payment may be made by Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Money Order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express Card, company check, personal check or PayPal.  Payment by company or personal check may delay service and return shipment of item until check clears.  Payment must be in United States Dollars.  Completed item will ship within 24 hours after receipt.

Shipping charges and proper packing of the item to George Beyers Company is the buyers responsibility.  The buyer will be notified of any transit damage upon receipt by George Beyers Company.  It is the buyers responsibility to properly pack and adequately insure the item.  Remanufacture of the item will NOT start until the buyer is satisfied with the carriers disposition of the damage claim and the buyer has notified George Beyers Company the actions to be taken.  The return charges of $25 packing labor & materials plus the U.P.S. shipping charge of a damaged item is the responsibility of the buyer and will be paid by the buyer before the item is returned.  These charges may be withheld from a refund of prepaid charges.  George Beyers Company will repair any and all damages to the item for an additonal, mutually agreed upon fee.  If the damaged item is not repairable, a reasonable trade-in offer may be made to the buyer to be applied to a replacement, remanufactured item from George Beyers Company stock.

I accept credit cards directly. For security purposes, send the first 8 digits on one e-mail and send the remainder of the digits on a separate e-mail. Credit card payment MUST include the Exact number shown on the credit card, expiration date, the individuals name on the card, and the address to which the monthly statement is mailed.

THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE RETURN SHIPMENT IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL.

Our responsibility for this shipment CEASES when the carrier signs our Bill of Lading. DO NOT ACCEPT A SHIPMENT THAT IS CLEARLY DAMAGED, CRUSHED OR HAS PUNCTURES unless you open the box with the driver as witness.  If goods are received short or in damaged condition, it is important that YOU notify THE GEORGE BEYERS COMPANY and the carrier.  YOU MUST INSIST on a notation by the driver of the loss or damage across the face of the freight bill. Otherwise, no claim can be enforced against the carrier. Keep ALL packaging materials (container & protective filler) for the shipment. If concealed loss or damage is discovered, notify GEORGE BEYERS COMPANY and the carrier AT ONCE and request an inspection. This is ABSOLUTELY necessary. You MAY have to be extremely forceful and DEMAND an inspection by the carrier. A concealed damage report MUST be made within 15 days of delivery of shipment. UNLESS you do this, the carrier will not entertain ANY claim for loss or damage. The agent will make an inspection and grant a concealed damage notation. If you give the carrier clear receipt for goods that have been damaged or lost in transit, you do so at your own risk and expense. We are willing to assist you in every possible manner to collect claims for loss or damage, but the willingness ON YOUR PART does NOT make us responsible for collection of claims or replacement of material. The actual FILING and PROCESSING of claims is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

We ONLY use United Parcel Service for shipments. The buyer MUST provide a physical delivery address. United Parcel Service will not deliver to a Post Office Box.

United States residents may elect to use UPS NEXT DAY AIR (Red Label) , UPS SECOND DAY AIR (Blue Label), UPS THREE DAY SELECT (Orange Label).  Unless clearly stated otherwise by the buyer, all items will be shipped using the cost saving UPS ground.

The UPS tracking number will be sent to buyer via e-mail. The buyer can track the shipment via the U.P.S. WEB SITE to ascertain delivery date.

Shiping to Alaska & Hawall is approximately $160 - Second Day Air and will be quoted as necessary.
