For auction is one cone, 2.7 lbs, 16,240 yards of 100% Premium Australian 2/19 wool. It is very soft, and has a subtle sheen. Worsted spun means that the fibers are longer than 4” and the finished garment will not pill nor wrinkle.
Use 1 or two ends with US 4-5 for lace, 3 ends for fine knitting, and 4 ends for soft but durable outerwear, warm shawls, hats, sweaters and vests.
On cone will give at least 5 yards of felted boiled wool knitted tubular on the Passap knitting machine.
