Shortly after Sept. 11, Corum owner Severin Wunderman decided to help the families of the victims of the tragedy and produce a limited series of 500 numbered units of his popular Bubble watch, but with an American flag on the dial and a special patriotic caseback. From the sale of each watch, Wunderman committed $500.00 to charity. $250,000 was raised and donated by Corum to support families of firefighters, police officers, and emergency workers who died or were seriously injured in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
