PBX-832C FEATURES

1.     8 CO lines and 32 extension lines

·        The PBX-832C allows for smaller phone systems to grow even if the current system has less than 8 CO lines and 32 extension lines because it can still function normally without having all phone lines plugged in.

2.     3 different outgoing message (OGM)

·        Any one of three OGM will be played according to the caller's action. 

3.     Direct/indirect CO line access

·        CO lines can be accessed directly by dialing the phone number directly or indirectly by first dialing '9'.

4.     Secretary assisted dialing

·        The secretary can dial an outside call from any extension and then transfer the call to another extension.

5.     Manual transfer of a CO line call to another CO line.

·        Incoming calls can be transferred to an external phone number manually.

6.     Toll restriction scheme

·        Outgoing long-distance calls can be disabled on any extension by restricting the dialing of certain numbers.

7.     Password protected CO line calls

·        Outgoing calls and long-distance dialing can be restricted by the use of password.

8.     Time limited forced disconnect

·        All outgoing calls can be programmed to disconnect after a certain period of time (in minutes).

9.     CO line monitor

·        Any CO line call can be monitor.

10. Caller id transfer (FSK/DTMF/Bellcore standard)

·        Caller id is also transferred when the incoming call is transferred. 

11. Automated attendant

·        The automated attendant will play one of three OGM and then transfer the call to the appropriate extension. Which OGM played would depend on the action of the caller.

12. Attendant call selection (incoming call route selection)

·        Incoming calls can be transferred automatically to a programmed extension with the attendant on duty/operator.

13. Do not disturb

·        Extension with this feature turned on will not ring and the call will be transferred to another extension.

14. Call hold transfer

·        Incoming call can be put on hold and transferred from any extension without any limit even on misdials. Incoming caller listens to music during the transfer.

15. Secretary assisted transfer

·        The secretary can first talk to the person at the extension requested by the caller before transferring the call (to avoid taking unnecessary calls).

16. Transfer with no answer

·        The incoming call will be redirected back to the extension first made the transfer if the person at the requested extension does not answer. The caller listens to music on hold during the transfer.

17. Incoming call pick up

·        Incoming calls can be answered from any extension.

18. Internal (intercom) calls

·         Intercom calls can be made between different extensions.

19. Compatible with most communication equipments

·        The PBX-832C can be connected to telephones, fax machines, computers and other communication equipments requiring an analog phone line.

20. Transfer if busy

·        All Incoming calls will be transferred to another extension when the requested extension is busy.

21. CO line grouping

·        CO lines can be programmed to be answered by certain group of extensions.

22. Three party conference call

·        Three party conferencing for both incoming calls and intercom calls.

23. Incoming call alert

·        Persons at the engaged extensions will hear a special tone alerting them that there is an incoming call.

24. External music on hold input

·        External music source can be used to override the built-in music on hold.

25. Intercom call all extensions

·        Any extension can ring all extension at once.

26. Password protected extension line

·        Access to individual extension can be protected with password.

27. Power  failure tolerant

·        During a power failure 4 extensions remain functional for both intercom and CO line calls .

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please note that the serial port and the door jack are not function  features on this model. The door phone and  serial port connection is only available on the PBX-832PC model (contact us for details).

EASY SETUP

You just connect the PBX-832C to your telephone line (CO line), plug in the AC power. connect your standard touch-tone telephones with RJ11 US type phone jacks (adapters are available at extra cost) and the default settings will allow you to use the system immediately. It's that simple!
