"Engine No. 9E-162 was built in January 1974 by Ward LaFrance of Elmira Heights, N.Y. This is a WLF Vantage custom build commercial pumper designed in cooperation with U.S. Steel. This rig is a 1000gpm pumper with a 750gallon booster tank and powered by Ford 534 gasoline engine. Conventry, N.Y. bought this pumper in 1975 and is shown in 1976. This model is no longer built by Ward LaFrance."
