Pair of vintage 1940's cranberry glass candle lamps. Also included are two clear glass shades with the same etched design as the cranberry ones.
Bases are marked Sterling with hallmarks...crown, "f", and a shield - weighted 850.
The bases are 4" tall and 3 1/2" across at the bottom, and hold standard tapered candles.
The glass shades are 6" high and 3 1/4" across at the top. Shades are etched with a leaf and grape design.
All four shades are in good shape with no chips or cracks. The sterling bases are tarnished and one has a blob of putty on the bottom (about 1" in diameter). The bases are tilted a bit too (see pic). They are not loose, just tilting...I did not want to try and force them straight.
*** SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE CRANBERRY GLASS (Table Lamp, pair of hurricane lamps, set of four goblet/wine glasses and round vase...all but the goblets have etched designs). ***
