Our crate/carrier mats are made with love by a volunteer who has an industrial sewing machine.

  • Made of the best quality plush fabric, donated by a local slipper manufacturer; the fabric is tough and will withstand repeated washings and retain its soft texture with no pilling
  • Pre-washed to remove sizing
  • Filled with 1/2" polyfoam for extra comfort
  • Reversible
  • Measuring 20" X 20", our crate mat fits most standard sized carriers 
  • Extra width may curl up to form a bumper pad, making the pet feel more comfortable and secure
  • Use as a bed to protect furniture

The gallery photo shows a pink mat in a carrier with our "cover girl", Lovey, (a rescued Himalayan). The other photo shows the selection of colors: red, bright yellow, and hot pink. The price includes your selection of one mat of any color, but the carrier is in the picture only to show scale.

Cats seem to be drawn to this type of soft plush fabric. Just lay one of our carrier mats down where your cat likes to go, or better yet -- where YOU want kitty to go -- and your cat will be drawn to it like a magnet. No bulk. easy to wash, just throw in the washing machine. A good trick is to put one out before trips to the vet and your pet will feel more secure with a familiar cushion.

One of our customers reports that her pet liked it so much that he dragged in out of the carrier to his favorite spot, so she ordered another one. We have only three left, one of each color.
