This is a Brand New in the Box CRKT Rollock knife (Item #CR-5212B). 3 1/2" closed "Sliding Folder".
The Rollock features a mirror polish frame made of 420J2 stainless steel, translucent blue polycarbonate handles with stainless pocket clip, a 2.25" AUS 6M stainless steel blade. The partially serrated drop point blade is taper ground and mirror polished. The clip is also mirror polish. The one hand opening is as simple as pressing at the base of the blade and sliding the blade open. Then click for a rigid lock-up. To close, just press the blade lock, let the blade slide back and pull back until it locks closed. A strong spring keeps the blade closed. Allen Elishewitz design.
Originally invented in 1975, the "Rolox" enjoyed cult status and attracted a large following. Production was very limited and the knives were expensive. Rolox later reached an agreement with CRKT to manufacture the Rolox as a true production knife. CRKT then teamed up with custom knifemaker Allen Elishewitz to redesign the original model. Allen improved the blade shape, handle design and added a custom stainless steel clip.
