    In a combat theater of operations, the Special Agent-in-Charge has directed your Criminal Investigation Division (CID) team to respond, protect, and initiate crime scene processing procedures. Investigative equipment and DA Forms 4137, 4002 provided.

    Conduct the crime scene processing, record observations, protect integrity of scene and potential evidence, investigative search of scene, records and evaluate evidence, expose scene images establishing location and parameter, expose physical evidence, record photographic log, record draft sketch depicting evidence and parameters of crime scene.

Scenario:  MP Notification
    At 0700 hours, (today's date), an MP squad received a complaint from local nationals who believes a US Army POW’s remains are located in a shallow grave which was found following the departure of suspected enemy combatants within your area of responsibility.  At 0710, the Special Agent-in-Charge has been notified of the complaint.
Scenario: MP Response
    An MP Squad has responded to scene and identified suspected site of local nationals complaint.  The MP Squad has initiated a hasty defensive position and is awaiting CID investigative support to evaluate and conduct appropriate investigative efforts.
Scenario:  CID Response
    You have been notified by the Special Agent-in-Charge who directs your team to respond and process the crime scene while all other investigative leads and efforts are conducted by other CID teams.
