SPECIFICATIONS

The “GRANITE LAKE” is a beautiful stick that you are sure to get many compliments on for many years to come. This is a very unique stick with a curvy nature. It is light weight but very strong.

It has a hand painted color blend, done in a Violet/Pewter color wash over peeled bark with some of the under layer left on, giving it a rustic weathered appearance. The top is adorned with assorted tumbled gemstones.

Introducing the “Northwood’s Series” of hiking/walking sticks and staffs by GYPSY-STYK. This series has been created in tribute to some of the most notable wilderness hiking areas in the northern United States and Canada, including; state parks and forests, national parks and forests, provincial wilderness areas, and historical trails. The GYPSY-STYK “Northwood’s Series” hiking sticks are hand-crafted from the trunks of young trees (not limbs) that have been selectively harvested from the Northwood’s country of Wisconsin. These hardwoods include; Ironwood, Hickory, Hard Maple, Ash, Oak, Musclewood, and Dogwood. They are naturally seasoned, then sanded or peeled to varying degrees producing a unique, one of a kind, textured or smooth antler-like appearance.  They are available in a natural finish or a multitude of hand rubbed color blends that allow the natural wood beauty to show through, hence the perfect blend of art and nature! The final touch is triple coats of clear polyurethane to ensure long lasting beauty and a long life of use. Please keep in mind that each stick is unique and there are no two alike. Each stick is marked with the year, signature, and the trademark GYPSY-STYK curly G logo. The “Northwood’s series” come with the traditional GYPSY-STYK tumbled gemstone filled tops (each different) and come standard with a sturdy wrist strap, and a quality, metal re-enforced rubber non-slip tips.
