Shirley Starke of Valkyrie Publications will arrange your song for harp and voice and send the arrangement to you in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format by email or on CD, as well as up to 12 copies printed on ivory paper as 4-page, 8 1/2" x 11" sheet music. The music will include words, melody for voice, a full arrangement for the lever or pedal harp (which can also be played on the piano), and chord symbols. It will have a cover page if space permits; for examples, see the sheet music in our eBay store.
The music will be entered into a computer using the Finale software program, and the finished music will be as professional and easy to read as Shirley's books and music sold by Valkyrie Publications, Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, and others. The copyright will belong to Valkyrie Publications unless a different agreement is made. We are very flexible about this: if we are arranging a favorite song for a wedding, we would like to share it with others, but if we are arranging something you wrote, of course the entire copyright belongs to you!
Shirley will need a copy of the words and melody from you, unless she can find them on the internet. Please allow at least four weeks if you are ordering it between January 1 and March 15, or six weeks at other times of the year.
