Day of the Dead Earrings with SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS
Original Art Cyanotype* Print

My festive little skulls were created using an alternative photographic process called CYANOTYPE, similar to "sun prints". It requires UV rays to expose the image. This is a photogram of a skull wearing a piece of lace for a hat, and half of a silk flower for a collar. The skull was formed with torn paper. Floating sequins add a celebratory flair.
 
I have this design on T-Shirts, Blank Note Cards, and Jewelry. The artwork is featured in small Tibetan silver frames that dangle from SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL Beads. Ear Hooks are Sterling Silver (stamped).
