Some Frequently Asked Questions: The reason the loft is not taller is because these cabins are built then shipped in on a semi-trailer and we have to deal with the overhead wires. There are other options if you want more head room in the loft, cabins can be built on site, the box can built then shipped and a second story or taller wall can be built on site. A preservative has been sprayed on the logs. In about a year you may want to consider spraying on a sealer or stain. The log is your insulation; additionally there is insulation in the ceiling and the floor. You can add on to these cabins using the same logs.
