SquareTrade © AP6.0 This is one of Caesar Crystal’s most beautiful contemporary patterns, called “Poem”, conceived by master designer Mr. Zdenek Kunst. We have this one vase available in the rare black. The piece is new, hand cut and marked with the Caesar Crystal logo on the bottom. It stands 9” tall and has a rim diameter of 3”. It is nice solid piece. As you may be able to tell from the photo, it refracts the spectrum most beautifully. The black color besides being collectible will match any décor. This is a contemporary classic.

[WHAT IS CASED CRYSTAL - Cased crystal is made out of two layers of crystal melted together - a colored layer of crystal on the outside and a clear layer on the inside. The outer colored layer is then hand-cut away to reveal the clear layer underneath. Note that the color is added to molten crystal and is then worked. This is the traditional and highest quality way of making two-tone colorful crystal. Due to this technique, each piece is blown twice making it inherently more valuable than similar clear crystal. In addition, be aware that much of today’s colored crystal is made once and painted on the outside, which gives it a tendency to fade over time, lessen its value and look shallow (you can see a lot of it on eBay). When looking for quality colored crystal, ask the dealer for true cased crystal and avoid painted crystal.
