  • Gorgeous Cambridge matte green mug with a thick rich green glaze with charcoal highlighting. The color is strong and rich.  No mark seen on the bottom, and yellow clay shows through there. Glaze and rougher manufacturing is like that also seen on early grueby, wheatley and camark pieces. It is clearly an old piece. 
  • Condition is VERY GOOD- NO CHIPS, CRACKS, or REPAIRS. Underglaze mold flaw on one side, completely covered with glaze. Bottom has kiln glaze pulls, and one tiny fleabite inside the top rim is barely noticeable. Check the pictures at    www.edartpottery.com/mattegreen.html   . It is great top to bottom. Classic looking matte green piece, for any collection.
