This unit has two methods of opening the blade.
- First is the traditional thumbstud.
- Second is the 'kick'. It is a tab on the blade that passes through the lockbar. You simply push the 'kick' then assisted technology takes over.

If you have never used an assisted opening knife,
to open the knife, begin opening by using the thumb stud on the blade,
or in this case the 'kick',
then the spring mechanism inside the knife
snaps the blade into the locked open position.

When Will My Item Ship?
Usually ships within 1 business day.
If there should be an unusual delay you will be informed.
You will be sent an e-mail notifying you when the item is shipped. I make every attempt to communicate with my buyers, but I also receive numerous failed e-mails due to spam blockers.
Insurance?
I highly recommend this option, especially if you have had any problems locally with USPS.
Most items will be sent with SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION (not insurance) to assure you get the package. Please inform me if you wish to have the item shipped with standard insurance. This will be done automatically on item at risk of breaking. (for example glass or acrylic display cases)
In many past experiences with USPS, they have refused to pay on any insurance claim.

Types of Payments Accepted?
Paypal and money orders in US funds. (no personal checks)
For Money orders, please complete the checkout process, you will be given the Money Order option at checkout. Also, be sure to send a copy of the checkout page with the payment so your order can be easily identified upon receipt.
You will receive an e-mail notification when your money order is received.
Please be aware, if paying by e-Check (bank transfer), Paypal holds the payment for 4-5 business days. The item will be shipped out after the clearing period.

This item is shipped brand new.
I inspect every knife before shipping for defects. On rare occasions a knife will be defective though. Please contact me within the first 7 days if you experience a problem. The Buyer may return the knife and I will send out a new one or issue a refund. (your choice) Over 7 days, the Buyer will be referred to the manufacturer's Warranty. SOG offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY against defects in workmanship and materials. (as long as there had been no abuse or misuse) I would also recommend that you register your purchase, if applicable. All paperwork that comes with the knife is included in the box.
It will be shipped in its original packaging.

Refunds?
All non-defective returns will be for the purchase price minus a 15% restocking fee and the original shipping & handling charges. (freight damage issues excluded)
Non-defective product will only be accepted in resalable condition, with all original packaging.

ATTENTION CANADIAN and all INTERNATIONAL buyers:
I recently shipped an assisted opening knife to Canada and it was confiscated during the inspection process. Also, the Canadian buyer claims they are now on an illegal dealer list. I have made successful sales since then, but the risk would still exist.
By purchasing you assume all risk of loss. (knife & money paid)
You should check with your local laws before ordering.
Even if the assisted opening knife is considered legal, there is no guaranty that the particular customs/border agent inspecting it doesn't see it as being an illegal knife.
I can mark it as ‘camping equipment’ or ‘cutlery’, but there is no guaranty it won't be opened and confiscated.
Also, you may owe taxes or other fees depending on your country's inspection laws and regulations before delivery is completed.
Out-of-Stocks
On rare occasions there may be an out of stock, as inventory levels change quickly.
You will be notified of the expected re-stock date and offered a choice of a full refund, which would be processed immediately.
Refusals and Non-Deliverables
Shipping & handling charges will not be refunded on refused or non-deliverable orders.
Orders will be shipped to your Paypal address. It is the buyer's responsibility that this information is correct.
