This is an authentic meteorite that is from the Campo del Cielo site in Chaco, Argentina. This meteorite has been attached to an 18" bead chain and comes packaged in a riker's mount (4.5" x 5.5" x 1"). An informational header card comes with each item.

This meteorite fell from outer space approximately four thousand years ago and landed in Chaco, Argentina. A mass of 18 tons was discovered in 1576. This particular specimen was found at a depth of 5 meters in Crater 10. Each specimen is unique in shape and size but all are approximately 15mm wide, 20mm tall, and 10mm deep, and weight is approximately 6.5 grams (38 ct). Packaging:
Each meteorite necklace comes packaged in a 4.5" x 5.5" x 1" Riker's Mount. This mount is a two part black display box with a white sponge-like material to hold objects in place. The top of the box features a glass window for viewing the object inside. The top & bottom section are held in place by two pins inserted into the box. The Riker's Mount makes this item a perfect gift...all you need to do is wrap it up!
