Basic Payment and Shipping Policy

1. Paypal payment is preferred. Credit Cards, and E-Checks accepted through Paypal. Payment within seven days please. Please email with any payment questions!
2. PayPal orders must ship to the address on the paypal account, no exceptions. This means no third party Paypal services, and the paypal account must be owned by the buyer of the item.
3. Items are shipped as follows. Most country lots are shipped in 10x13 flats via First Class Mail Domestic and International. Large lots, Albums, etc. are shipped via Priority Mail or Parcel Post (Domestic only) as noted in item listing.
4. Special shipping rules for individual sets and singles from my store. Domestic $1.50 for the first item, .25 for each additional item, $3.50 Maxiumum, International $2.50 for the first, and $5.00 maximum! Orders for sets/singles totaling $100 or more will ship free. Please note insurance/registration is additional in all cases. 
5. Items will be combined to save shipping cost. Please wait for a combined invoice before paying. I will combine items purchased within up to 7 days. Please notify me when you have completed your purchases and I will invoice you.
6. Insurance: Domestic: For all shipments $100 and over insurance is required and the cost will be added to the shipping fee. Insurance cost is $2.15 for the first $100, $2.45 for the next $100 and .95 for each additional $100 or fraction.
7. International: For orders over $100 insurance or registration is required. Items weighing one pound or more will be sent via Priority Mail International with insurance added for items $100 or more. Insurance cost will be added to the shipping fee. Items under one pound (over $100) will be sent First Class Mail International Registered. Registration fees will be added to the shipping cost. Insurance cost is $3.35 for the first $100 and .95 for each additional $100 or fraction.
8. Tracking: No tracking is available on international orders mailed First Class, if tracking is required Registration or Priority Mail must be used at additional cost. Domestic orders over 3 ounces will have tracking available. Sets etc. from my store are mailed at the first class letter rate (foreign and domestic) so no tracking will be available unless insured or registered, at additional cost.
9. All international shipments will have appropriate customs forms when required. Please do not ask me falsify these documents.

A word about condition.

Collections and; accumulations. Unless the item description specifically says otherwise, the following is true of all stamp collections and accumulations offered by Valley Village Stamps.

1. The stamps in the scan(s) are the very same stamps you will receive, though all stamps may not be pictured in a large lot.
2. If a catalog value is indicated, it comes from Scott 2009, unless otherwise noted.
3. Where there are watermark, perf, paper or other varieties, I have either confirmed the identification myself, or I've priced it as the cheapest type.
4. Lots contain some duplication unless labeled "all-different" or "diff".
5. Stamps identified as MNH are flawless and post office fresh.
6. Mint stamps have original gum (if issued with gum), but may have hinge marks or remnants and/or pencil marks. A small percentage of stamps in a mint lot may be gumless.
7. Lots that include both mint and used stamps will often include one of each for some stamps.
8. Most stamps are sound, but especially in older material there may be some faults -- thins, bad perfs, creases, etc. Complete wrecks are ignored for count and value. General problems with a group or lot will be noted in my description, but I don't have time to closely scrutinize every stamp in a collection.
9. Display cards or stockcards in the scans are not necessarily included with the stamps.
