Odor Free : candles made with these dyes are free of odors and chemical smells, they burn cleanly without clogging the wick and are compatible with all fragrances and essential oils.
Best Dye for Soaps: Dye is stable in all soap bases, even with hand made soaps made with large amounts of lye or caustic. Our dye is stable and will not break down. Dye can be used at 2-3 times the recommended rate and it will not stain hands or clothing used with the soaps.
Concentrated : use 0.01% - 0.05% for a medium to light shade. One bottle of dye is good for as much as 1000 POUNDS of wax. The use rate is for paraffin candles. Gel candles require less dye and soy candles require more.
Non Hazardous: Dye is especially formulated free of naptha or aromatic solvents so no warning labels are required: even under CA Prop 65 (most stringent in the nation). Candles made with Novacandle dyes are smoke and odor free.
Professional Quality: Novacandle dyes are produced to high standards and carefully controlled for color and concentration so you get the same great results bottle after bottle.
Non-viscous: thin free flowing dye is easy to pour, measure and cleanup after. Unlike other liquid dyes you can even work with it in cold temperatures. Our easy pour caps make dispensing dye simple.
Solid Free: Our bottle does not say "SHAKE BEFORE USING". Like all our dyes this one does NOT settle out or separate when stored. This ensures consistent shade for every candle batch. Novacandle Dyes can be stored for more than three years under ambient conditions.
