Candlewick and Satin Heirloom Borders, Corners and Frames for 5x7 hoops or larger This set coordinates with Candlewick & Satin Heirloom Quilt Squares, containing a combination of candlewicking, lacework, and satin stitch. If you have not worked with candlewick designs, they are like French knots done by hand, except that when done by machine, they do not come out :) and the knots of each style all look exactly alike. I love the heirloom effect they give a design. There are 70 designs total in this set- 7 variations for each of the 10 basic designs. The 10 designs are supplied in 2 sizes of borders, 2 sizes of corners, and 3 sizes of frames. For the frames the dimensions vary but the smallest is for 5x7 and the largest is for gigahoop (200 x 200 mm). The small corners can also be combined to form a smaller frame--the small corners fit the 4x4 hoop. **All other designs of this set require a 5x7 hoop or larger.  I have displayed these in 2 colors. I stitched the Candlewick & Satin series in ecru and pale peach, and they are stunning. They also look beautiful done tone on tone or whitework, as the various stitches used provide much texture even when done in monochromatic style. They are also beautiful done in Christmas colors, or in silver & gold-they offer any number of creative possibilities for holiday decorating and gift giving.  They would make striking embroidered Christmas Cards with a monogram.
