Candlewick and Satin Heirloom Hearts
4x4, 5x7, mega and giga hoops
This set is to
coordinate with the series of Candlewick & Satin Heirloom Quilt
Squares. The 10 designs are supplied in 4 sizes as above, so
there are 40 designs in the set. They offer a combination of candlewicking,
lacework, and satin stitch. If you have not worked with candlewick designs, they are like French knots done by hand, except that when done by machine, they do not come out :) and the knots of each style all look exactly alike. I love the heirloom effect they give a design.
I have displayed these in 2 or 3 colors-soft mauve and light teal. I have stitched the
Candlewick & Satin series in white and pale peach, and they are stunning.
These are also beautiful done tone on tone or as whitework, as the various
stitches used provide much texture even when done in monochromatic
style.

designs sew out the same, but various brands of
embroidery machines require their own stitch
format. You must specify your format when payment
is sent. Shipping will be delayed until you specify
what format you need.
