DESCRIPTION The law. When Matthew Cameron (Jay Richardson) first chose it as a profession, he chose it to serve people. Now the brand of law he practices serves mainly his corporations. His lifestyle. Himself. When Alex (Kurt Fuller), an old college buddy, turns up on his doorstep, he reminds Matthew of his Original Intent. Alex never lost touch with the ideals that gave his life purpose and lures Matthew into putting his own ideals into practice. He introduces Matthew to people who desperately need his services: the Homeless. Matthew is inexorably drawn into a desperate world of despair which he had spent years trying to ignore. He sets out to save a homeless shelter run by Ben Reid (Robert Do'Qui) from the clutches of a land hungry power broker (Vince Edwards). Suddenly, Matthew finds himself pitting all his skills against an unyielding, uncompromising power. Slowly his world of security and comfort begins to crumble. The closer he gets to victory, the closer his family is threatened with ruin.
