This is a generous sized handbag complete with secure zipper closure and a large fashion chain handle.    Currently being referred to as "Mexican" Art, but has it's roots as "Folk Art" or "Prison Art" - this traditional weaving technique has been around for a long time and is being used to create wonderful handbags and accessories. You can also find that this technique has been used to create Necklaces, Bracelets, Picture Frames, Baby Shoes, Belts, and more... We have been making these purses and accessories since 2003 and have a very nice selection of styles and colors. What a wonderful use for unwanted wrappers whether they are post consumer or production misprints. We make frequent appearances at our local school "EcoClubs" to teach the kids this craft.
