6" wide x 4" high Motor Mounting Surface in Pressure Treated Pine 2" stock.. Attached with zinc plated carriage bolts running completely through tightened with oversized washers nuts,lock washers the remaining threads are ground off flush.... ( The mounting surface will not move it does'nt have to simply turn the mount around for either hand operation)

Convenient Star Handle Tightening Knobs which are Industrial Grade High Torque.

Steel Clamping Brackets.. 1/8" thick x  2 1/8" wide offer more clamping surface which results in less vibration thus the mount stays put..I've designed and formed these clamps to lock the bolt without spinning allowing convenient /safe one hand tightening offering an extremely secure hold against the gunwales without wrenches or the clamps deforming.....These steel clamps will not bend.

Reversible for for left or right side mounting. ( No Tools Required... just turn it around) 

Can be turned over for a more convenient  motor handle location

Both of my Modern Minn Kota Trolling Motors sit parallel (see photos) of two different canoes.

Compatible with small gasoline motors..(Tested using 1.5hp and 3.0hp motors.. I recommend an electric motor because of the weight and canoe list.)
