Canoe trolling motor mount - Aluminum / Ash

 The Perfect Gift, an aluminum and ash hardwood canoe motor mount.  The top brace is 3/8" thick polished aluminum thats 3" wide for a solid stable ride. The mounting block is 1 7/8" thick ash. Ash is super tough and won't suffer as much denting as softer woods when cranking down hard on the mounting bolts. If its good enough for Louisville Sluggers...its good enough for me. The ash block is stained and coated in 2 coats of exterior polyurethane for weather and water protection. The mounting block is angled so your motor can always sit perpendicular in the water if you need it. Its secured with 3/8" hanger screws and lock washers.This allows for super strength as well as quick easy change for mounting to the left or right side of the canoe.  

Mounting is easy and the clips are unique. No tools are needed. Get the star bolt started with the wingnut and the clip, fit it up to the canoe and its a one hand operation from there. Easy when mounting but really important when checking tightness on the water. It's light weight at around 8 lbs and approx 28.75" long it's got a full range of motion and an easy, comfortable reach to the throttle. This mount will work on a number of different canoes. It works on mine as a bow or stern mount will probably work on yours. If you buy this mount you won't be disappointed.
