This is a Canon EF 400mm f5.6 L USM (Ultrasonic) long telephoto lens. The original caps and tripod mount are included. The lens hood is built in. I will also include a very nice padded Lowepro lens case that has always protected the lens. This lens is a slightly older version and is not IS (Image Stabilized). It is lightweight and easily hand holdable. The last image you see was taken on my 50D in a low rez setting and you can see this lens is VERY sharp. The image was taken at a distance of 10 meters (30 feet).  This works on any Canon EOS 35mm Film or Digital SLR.  The lens works perfectly. The manual focus and autofocus are working perfectly. The glass is mint. No fungus, dust, haze or scratches. Overall a 99% Mint.  I call this barely used, and never abused. You will LOVE this lens. The date code is UM06. (June 1998). The filter size is 77mm.  Free FedEx Ground shipping in the lower 48 states. All other buyers pay actual shipping costs. Regards, Darryl
