Up for bidding is a pre-owned Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens. The lens is up for sale because I don't need it anymore as I found myself mostly shooting landscape with a wide-angle lens. This is a fantastic zoom lens with an incredible IS (image stabilization) that produces just beautiful pictures. It has an UD element which is usually reserved for Canon's L series glass.

The lens was purchased brand new in September 2008 and it was very rarely used (maybe about 5-10 times). Neither the glass elements nor the body of the lens has any scratches or any other defects. The lens and the included accessories are in EXCELLENT CONDITION.

What you will get:

  • The Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens
  • Front and rear caps
  • Tiffen 58mm UV filter (the filter was always kept on the lens to prevent dusting and scratching)
  • A lens pouch (shown in one of the pictures below - not Canon brand, but it will keep the lens safe & clean)
  • I'm also including a very gently used very high quality Hoya 58mm PL-CIR Circular Polarized Filter (Polarizer). The original jewel case is also included. The polarizer eliminates glare from glass or water. It also darkens blue skies to add drama to the scene. The mount rotates to control amount of effect.

    All the photos below belong to the actual lens and accessories that are up for sale - they are NOT stock pictures. At the very bottom is a sample picture taken with this lens on a Canon XSI body.













    The lens and the included accessories are sold with a 7-day return policy (shipping fee is non-refundable). The buyer pays the return shipping fees. PayPal is the only form of payment accepted. (Sorry, no shipping outside of the US).
