Canon introduced this camera last year and added some serious upgrades over their other cameras in this class. It is both small, very high quality, has received some great reviews and is very easy to use. This camera is a 7.1 Megapixel, 4X optical zoom digital camera. 

Probably the greatest enhancement over earlier Canon models is the inclusion of their face-detection autofocus feature, which is viewed as cutting edge by most in the industry.  This feature allows the user to easily capture crisp images of faces, the main focus of most shots. 

The Optical Image Stabilization was added on this camera as well for steady shooting at all zoom settings.

It is only about 3.6" wide x 2.5" high x 1.7" thick.  The camera weighs just 5.8 ounces.  It has an automatic mode for very easy picture taking (even if you have never used a digital camera before), plus it has several preset modes for more advanced users.  This camera also offers Red-Eye Correction in the Playback mode.

This camera has an enlarged high resolution 2.5” LCD screen that works well inside and outside.  The high resolution, brightness, and contrast ratio is great for taking pictures, for showing your photos to friends and family, and for using the menu.  This camera boasts auto ISO adjustments with six ISO equivalents up to ISO 1600 plus a HI ISO setting to boost sensitivity in lower light atmospheres. 

Canon increased the battery life, which allows the user to capture 1400 shots with the LCD off and 550 with the LCD on.

This camera can also be used for capturing movies in AVI format. In VGA video with audio at 30 frames per second, you will fill up a 1GB card in about 8 minutes (more if you set set the resolution down).

This Canon PowerShot A570 digital camera is in LIKE NEW condition (camera has no marks or scratches) and comes in the retail box (the box may have tape or writing on it). We opened the box to verify all the original contents were present. We tested the camera and found it to be fully functional and works great.  The camera was found to be in perfect working order and takes the most amazing quality photos.
