Card Weaving Mini Loom Left Hand Oak


Our Mini Card Loom comes complete with a shuttle, and a booklet to help get you started. The booklet includes basic directions.  We also have an online basic pictorial for warping your loom.  Coming soon an online basic pattern page.

This loom is made of furniture grade ply-wood.  Do not let the word plywood discourage you from this loom.  Plywood is an engineered wood and has been made for thousands of years; the earliest known occurrence of plywood was in ancient Egypt around 3500 BC when wooden articles were made from sawn veneers glued together crosswise.
This is the same loom that we use in our warping and weaving classes, and approximate length of weave will be up to 55 inches.  These looms are not built for heavy tension, but still deliver a fine product, see samples below made with various types of yarns.  The Mini Card Loom measures only 15" long, 8" tall, and 5" wide.  Light weight yet durable, making it very portable.  We offer both Maple and Oak, as well as both left and right hand looms.

All of our looms are natural color.  We use no paints, dyes, or stains.
