White Luxe ensemble. Raked white wool looks like ermine and is treated like an ermine suit. The amazing jacket is cut with bias raking detail on sleeves just like a fur and belted with typical jeweler's diamond buckle.
 

Designer Marilyn Lewis has donated her private collection of Cardinali originals to beneft KCET, public television for Central and Southern California. Marilyn Lewis, restauranteur, fashion designer, and movie producer, has always had a classic sense of style and a gift for knowing “when something seems right.’’ It is this mantra that has made her a successful entrepreneur and designer to celebrities like former First Lady Nancy Reagan and Dyan Cannon. Lewis launched her foray into fashion in 1966 with an initial 35 designs that caught the attention of Vogue’s legendary editor Diana Vreeland. The “Cardinali Look” became iconic when Marlo Thomas wore her designs in the hit TV show That Girl.
